The sister restaurant of Ding Tai Fung in Markham, this is a pretty good Shanghai place in Scarborough. One of my fav here is this wonton in chili oil.
Our first meal in Taipei was at the famous Din Tai Fung. We arrived in Taipei around 5pm and rushed here right away as we were all very hungry.
Xiao Long Bao - thin wrapping, soupy filling
Shrimp Fried Rice - this was quite delicious and different from Cantonese fried rice, I think because the Taiwanese use Japanese rice so it tastes more glutinous and fragrant.
