Piccolo Piano Room @ Piano Piano

September 10, 2016

The piccolo piano room is a fun concept in the basement meant for family and kids, with a designated small play room with costumes and chalkboard walls. It was quite loud but otherwise an interesting experience. I don't have kids but I went in July for the prix fixe menu.

Marinated Mackerel - Chips, Banana Pepper, Chimichurri

Escargot - Parsley, Button Mushroom, Garlic Butter

Chopped Salad - Salami, Olives, Feta, Brussel Sprouts, Oregano, Crisp Polenta, Dandelion

Spaghetti Carbonara - meh

Spicy Sicilian - Fior di Latte, Tomato, Spicy 'Nduja, Sicilian Oregano

Tiramisu in a cute cup

Salted Dark Chocolate Cake - rich and decadent, and you can really taste the salt

Lemon Cheesecake - surprisngly good, made with goat cheese, mascarpone and cream cheese, topped with brulee

$30 3-course prix fixe back in July. Wanted to try this place for mainly the pink exterior and $30 was such a great deal! Delicious and filling, especially large portions for the appetizer salad & mackerel. I liked the mackerel and desserts the most.
