Wind Eroded Caves

Overdue Post: I was in sunny Sydney from Dec 29 2014 - Jan 6 2015

Day 1: Arrival + Opera House
We were welcomed by our friends and hosts, B&D, with a quick homemade lunch before heading out to the iconic Sydney Opera House. Walked across the Harbour Bridge (crossing all the bridges in the world from San Fran to London to Sydney!) and took a drive to a beach before having dinner in Chinatown.

Day 2: Nature Day at Blue Mountains
I've come a long way from being sedentary to actually enjoying an active lifestyle. Hiked around the Blue Mountains (pictured - Three Sisters), had lunch at B&D's house up there, and continued on to the Wind Eroded Caves - nature is so cool!

Had a delicious Vietnamese meal back in town. This trip was more about spending time with family and friends and less about the food. That said, tried a bunch of unique items I haven't had in Toronto, such as the salmon salad (so fresh!) and the fall-off-the-bone ribs in a sweet sauce. Watermelon slush was great on a hot day. Ironically the pho was disappointing.

Another thing I miss is the homemade bread and the fresh, sweetest white peaches!! Thank you for feeding us from morning to night <3
